The menu has a generous selection of dishes for vegetarians. Even if you're not one, include at least one of these dishes among your main courses, particularly if your table is having one of Miss Saigon's meal-size noodle soups. Highly recommended choices are the Buddah's Delight, made special by its delicious squares of deep-fried bean curd, and the palate-fooling Vegetarian Duck Meat Sauteed With Vegetables.
At both Miss Saigons, some of the best dishes are cooked and served in the rustic clay casseroles known on Chinatown menus as hot pots. Try a pleasantly spicy chicken curry, caramel pork with black pepper, or plump shrimp sweetened with a wash of lemongrass-chili-onion sauce. Other signature dishes include the splendid egg-noodle soup with roasted quail and mixed seafood marinated in Chinese oyster sauce.
