Busy, efficient, and interesting to the eye, Bistro Bistro offers up everything from salads, soups, pizza, and burgers to a few more-expensive items like steak and rack of lamb. And it gives customers plenty of latitude in ordering. If you don't feel like a full meal, there's a selection of "small plates" with appetizer-sized portions. Explorations into the menu have uncovered a superb oyster stew, the oysters plump in a flavorful, creamy base; a hearty white chili made with turkey; well-fried calamari with three dipping sauces; a first-rate roast chicken with mashed potatoes; rack of lamb rubbed with Southwestern spices; and a New York strip, cooked as ordered and served with bleu cheese and mountains of French fries and tobacco onions. The wine list is well selected and fairly priced.
The Peanut Butter Thinga mass of peanut butter, peanut brittle, and chocolatewill satisfy whatever remains of your appetite. Another way to end the meal might be with one of the good selection of single-malt Scotches.
