If you choose a night when the parking lot is free of tour buses, it's possible to have a pleasant evening in this popular Rosslyn beef house. If, on the other hand, you happen in when the place is packed, you're likely to feel herded rather than served. In either event, to the restaurant's credit, you will get remarkably good prime rib and amazingly low prices.

The prime rib comes in three sizes, priced at $7.95, $10.95, or $13.95, and the price includes a trip to the salad bar, which is built to look like a steamboat. The beef is flavorful and tender and cooked precisely as you ordered. Don't bother ordering anything else.
